Ansu Fati, the Barcelona youth academy product who has become one of the most promising young players in football, returned to training on Monday after missing out on the club's recent matches due to injury.

The 17-year-old forward was named as one of four substitutes for Sunday's La Liga match against Real Sociedad but was forced off with a hamstring injury just before half-time. The injury is not thought to be serious and he is expected to return to training soon.

Fati made his first-team debut for Barcelona last season, aged just 15 years and 284 days, becoming the youngest player to ever feature in a competitive match for the club. He impressed during his brief spell in the senior team, scoring two goals in five appearances,Ligue 1 Express and has since been promoted to the under-19s squad.

Despite his early success, Fati has struggled with injuries throughout his career and has had to miss out on several important games. However, his determination and talent have seen him emerge as one of the brightest prospects in world football.

With the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez already established at the top of the pecking order, Fati will need to continue to prove himself if he wants to make a name for himself at the Camp Nou. But with his impressive performances for the under-19s, there is no doubt that he has what it takes to achieve great things in the future.
